Definitions

  • “Final Offer” means the binding offer we make after physical inspection and habitation check of your leisure vehicle
  • “You” or “Seller” means the person or entity selling the leisure vehicle to us
  • “Collection” means the physical removal of the leisure vehicle from the agreed location
  • “Outstanding Finance” means any hire purchase, personal contract purchase, or loan secured against the leisure vehicle
  • “V5C” means the vehicle registration certificate (logbook) issued by the DVLA
  • “CRiS” means the Caravan Registration and Identification Scheme (for caravans)

3.1 Service Overview

Our services include:

  • Free vehicle collection within 5 working days
  • Handling of DVLA/CRiS paperwork and ownership transfer

3.2 Geographic Coverage

We operate throughout England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Our mobile team can visit you at your home, storage site, or workplace at a time convenient to you.

3.3 Service Availability

While we strive to maintain uninterrupted service, we reserve the right to:

  • Modify, suspend, or discontinue services temporarily or permanently
  • Refuse service to any person for any lawful reason
  • Limit the number of transactions during peak seasons

Leisure Vehicle Valuation Process

4.1 Online Valuation

Our online valuation tool provides an indicative price only based on:

  • Vehicle registration number (or CRiS number for caravans)
  • Make, model, year, and type (motorhome, caravan, campervan)
  • Current mileage or usage hours
  • Condition as described by you
  • Current market conditions for leisure vehicles
  • Vehicle history data from DVLA, CRiS, and other sources
  • Habitation equipment and specifications

4.2 Non-Binding Nature

The online valuation is:

  • For guidance purposes only and is not a binding offer
  • Subject to physical inspection and habitation verification
  • Valid for 7 days from the date of generation
  • Subject to change based on market fluctuations

Important: The online valuation is an estimate only. The final offer made after physical inspection and habitation check may differ significantly based on the actual condition, history, habitation status, and market value of the leisure vehicle.

4.3 Accuracy of Information

You are responsible for providing accurate information. Providing false, misleading, or inaccurate information may result in:

  • A significantly lower final offer
  • Cancellation of the transaction
  • Potential legal action for misrepresentation

Leisure Vehicle Sale Agreement

5.1 Physical Inspection

Before making a final offer, our trained inspector will:

  • Conduct a thorough visual inspection of the vehicle’s exterior and interior
  • Perform a comprehensive habitation check (for motorhomes and caravans)
  • Check the engine, transmission, and mechanical components
  • Verify mileage and service history
  • Check for outstanding finance
  • Review the V5C/CRiS and other documentation
  • Assess any damage, wear, or defects to both vehicle and habitation areas
  • Test all habitation equipment (if applicable)

5.2 Final Offer

Following inspection, we will make a final offer which:

  • Is based on the actual condition of the leisure vehicle and habitation area
  • Takes into account any discrepancies from your description
  • Remains valid for the remainder of that day only
  • Must be accepted at the time of inspection or communicated to us within 24 hours

5.3 Acceptance of Offer

You may accept or decline our final offer. Upon acceptance:

  • A binding contract is formed
  • You agree to transfer ownership of the leisure vehicle to us
  • You authorize us to arrange payment and collection
  • You confirm all warranties and representations are true

5.4 Decline of Offer

If our final offer is lower than expected and you decline it:

  • No contract is formed
  • You retain full ownership of the leisure vehicle
  • No fees or charges will be applied
  • We will return all documents to you

Payment Terms

6.1 Payment Method

Payment is made exclusively via:

  • BACS (Bankers’ Automated Clearing Services) transfer to your UK bank account
  • We do not offer payment by cash, cheque, or other methods

6.2 Payment Timing

  • Standard Payment: Same-day BACS transfer initiated before we leave the collection site
  • Payment Receipt: Funds typically arrive in your account within 2 hours, but may take up to 24 hours depending on your bank
  • Bank Holiday Delays: Transfers initiated on weekends or bank holidays may be delayed

6.3 Payment Conditions

Payment will only be made when:

  • You have provided valid photo identification (driving license or passport)
  • You have provided valid proof of address (utility bill or bank statement dated within 3 months)
  • You have provided correct UK bank account details
  • The V5C/CRiS documentation is in your name or you have proper authority to sell
  • There is no outstanding finance on the leisure vehicle (or settlement has been arranged)
  • The leisure vehicle is as described and matches our inspection

6.4 Outstanding Finance

If your leisure vehicle has outstanding finance:

  • You must disclose this before our inspection
  • We can settle the outstanding balance directly with the finance company
  • You will receive payment for the remaining equity (if any)
  • If the settlement figure exceeds our offer, the sale cannot proceed unless you pay the difference
  • Finance settlement typically takes 5-10 working days

6.5 No Hidden Fees

We do not charge any fees for:

  • Valuation services
  • Vehicle and habitation inspection
  • Payment processing
  • Vehicle collection
  • DVLA/CRiS paperwork

Leisure Vehicle Collection

7.1 Collection Arrangements

Upon acceptance of our offer and completion of payment:

  • We will arrange free collection of the leisure vehicle
  • Collection typically occurs within 5 working days
  • We will confirm collection date and time with you in advance
  • You must be present (or authorize a representative) at collection

7.2 Vehicle Condition at Collection

Between inspection and collection, you must:

  • Maintain the leisure vehicle in the same condition as inspected
  • Not drive the vehicle excessively (no more than 100 additional miles)
  • Notify us immediately of any damage or changes to the vehicle or habitation area
  • Keep the leisure vehicle secure and insured
  • Empty all tanks (water, waste, LPG) before collection

7.3 Collection Location

  • Collection will occur at the address agreed during inspection
  • The leisure vehicle must be accessible and ready for collection
  • You must ensure adequate space for our collection vehicle
  • If the vehicle is not accessible, collection may be rescheduled at our discretion

7.4 Items to Provide at Collection

You must provide:

  • All vehicle keys (including spare keys)
  • V5C registration certificate or CRiS documentation
  • Service history and habitation check certificates
  • Vehicle handbook and all manuals
  • Any accessories, parts, or habitation equipment included in the sale
  • Gas bottles (if included in sale)
  • Levelling ramps, wheel clamps, security devices (if included)

7.5 Failure to Provide Items

If you fail to provide required items:

  • Collection may be delayed or cancelled
  • We may reduce the purchase price
  • Additional costs may be charged for replacement keys or documents

Ownership Transfer

8.1 Transfer of Ownership

Ownership of the leisure vehicle transfers to us:

  • Upon completion of payment, or
  • Upon physical collection of the leisure vehicle
  • Whichever occurs later

8.2 DVLA/CRiS Notification

We will notify the relevehiclet authorities of the change of ownership:

  • DVLA for motorhomes and campervans
  • CRiS for caravans (if applicable)
  • You will receive confirmation from the relevehiclet authority

8.3 Your Responsibilities After Sale

After the sale, you remain responsible for:

  • Any traffic offenses or penalties incurred before ownership transfer
  • Ensuring your insurance is cancelled or updated
  • Ensuring you have notified relevehiclet authorities if we have not yet done so
  • Cancelling any storage agreements for caravans or motorhomes

Your Warranties and Representations

9.1 Ownership and Title

By selling your leisure vehicle to us, you warrant that:

  • You are the legal owner of the leisure vehicle with full right to sell
  • The vehicle is free from any encumbrances, liens, or charges (except disclosed finance)
  • The vehicle has not been stolen, salvaged, or written off
  • The vehicle is not subject to any hire purchase or lease agreement (except as disclosed)
  • You have authority to sell the leisure vehicle and transfer ownership

9.2 Condition and History

You warrant that:

  • All information provided about the leisure vehicle is accurate and complete
  • The mileage displayed is genuine and has not been altered
  • The vehicle has not been involved in any serious accidents
  • All disclosed damage, defects, and issues are complete and accurate
  • The service and habitation history provided is genuine
  • The vehicle has a valid MOT (if required) or you have disclosed it does not
  • All habitation equipment is in working order as described

9.3 Legal Compliance

You warrant that:

  • The vehicle registration and documentation are genuine
  • The vehicle is not the subject of any police investigation
  • The vehicle has not been used for illegal purposes
  • All modifications have been declared to relevehiclet authorities
  • The vehicle complies with all relevehiclet construction and use regulations

9.4 Breach of Warranty

If any warranty or representation is found to be false or misleading:

  • We may cancel the transaction and demand return of payment
  • We may pursue legal action for damages
  • We may report the matter to relevehiclet authorities
  • You will be liable for all costs incurred

Serious Warning: Selling a leisure vehicle with outstanding finance without disclosure, misrepresenting mileage, or selling a stolen vehicle are criminal offenses punishable by imprisonment and/or unlimited fines.

Cancellation and Cooling-Off Period

10.1 Your Right to Cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel the contract within 14 days without giving any reason if:

  • The contract was formed away from our business premises (e.g., at your home)
  • The leisure vehicle has not yet been collected
  • You notify us in writing of your intention to cancel

10.2 How to Cancel

To cancel the contract:

  • State clearly that you wish to cancel the contract

10.3 Effects of Cancellation

If you cancel within the cooling-off period:

  • You must return any payment received

  • You must notify your insurance company

10.4 Exceptions to Cancellation Right

You may lose your right to cancel if:

  • The leisure vehicle has already been collected and resold
  • You have expressly waived your cancellation rights in writing
  • The vehicle condition has materially changed since inspection

10.5 Our Right to Cancel

We reserve the right to cancel the transaction if:

  • We discover a material misrepresentation or false information
  • Outstanding finance cannot be settled
  • The vehicle is found to be stolen or subject to investigation
  • You fail to provide required documentation
  • Payment cannot be processed due to fraud concerns

Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
  • Any liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law

Subject to section 11.1, we will not be liable for:

  • Loss of profits, business, contracts, or revenue

11.5 Your Liability

You are fully liable for:

  • All information provided during the valuation and inspection process
  • Ensuring the leisure vehicle is legally yours to sell
  • Any misrepresentation or breach of warranty
  • All costs we incur due to your breach of these Terms

Intellectual Property

12.1 Website Content

All content on our website, including:

  • Text, graphics, logos, images, and photographs
  • Software, code, and functionality
  • Design, layout, and “look and feel”
  • Trademarks and branding
